What is a race?

A race is a 10 minute timed session where most kids in junior karts average 15-20 laps, and adults average 25 laps per race. You may get more or less laps depending how you drive. Races feel much longer than 10 minutes as this is a high-intensity, high-adrenaline activity.

How old does a rider have to be?

All drivers must be at least 7 years old AND a minimum of 48” tall. No exceptions.

 

Do you have double/passenger karts?

No.

 

Can I ride with my child on my lap?

No.

 

Can you ride in flip flops/sandals?

No, all participants must wear closed toed shoes.

 

Do you provide helmets?

Yes. Every customer wears a surgical hair net if they’re using our helmets.

 

Can I bring my own helmet?

Yes, but only if it is DOT certified.

 

Can I ride at the same time as my junior driver?

Yes, if you also ride a junior kart. We do not run mixed junior and senior kart races.

 

Are you open on statutory holidays?

Yes, except for Christmas day. We close early on Christmas eve and New Years eve.

 

Are the karts gas or electric powered?

Our karts are gas powered. We ventilate with outside air so it may feel cool in the winter months. Dress warmly and bring gloves for your comfort.

 

How much notice do you need when booking a group package?

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice when making a reservation. In order to get the time and day that you want, you should try to book two to three weeks in advance.

 

Is your facility licensed to sell alcohol?

No. The laws that apply to the road apply here. Any person that is suspected to be under the influence will not be allowed to participate.

 

What clothing do I need to wear?

All drivers are required to wear closed toed shoes. Open toed shoes are not permitted.

Winter drivers should dress warmly and bring gloves.

 

How old do I have to be to sign my own waiver?

All participants must be at least 19 years old to sign their own waiver. Those that are 18 years old and younger must have a parent/guardian sign on their behalf
